FENTYxPUMA SS2017 RE-CAP by Lucy Anderson

Posted: Oct 08 2016

Well you guys, the iconic bad gal RiRi did it again at her FentyXPuma show for Spring/Summer ‘17 Paris fashion week. The iconic star signed with Puma back in 2014 and has rocketed their sales since, evolving the brand into something completely different yet amazing.

Everything that paraded the runway was pink, green and lavender with crazy ruffles, satin and detailed lace-ups. Rihanna’s inspiration for the show has been said to be the notorious royal Marie Antoinette, and there’s no denying she pulled it off exceptionally well.

The show’s soundtrack was the most appropriate hip-hop meets ballroom music including chart toppers such as rapper, Yo Gotti's "Down In The Dms" and "Panda" by rapper "Desiigner" played as orchestral covers.Although not having quite the ground-breaking diversity such as Yeezus,
Rihanna did include a wide variety of models in her show including the stunning Taylor Hill, a staple Victoria’s Secret model, along with other runway familiar faces.

The show was a smash hit and such an inspiration for next year's spring and summer trends.
